چکیده

Oxygen reduction reaction (ORR) is one of the most technologically relevant reactions. It occurs at interface electrocatalyst and electrolyte, where oxygen reacts with protons electrons to produce water. Because dispersed on a high surface area support, morphological confinement becomes critical, as it dictates proton transport. Furthermore, induced by ionomer, ionic liquids (ILs), or molecular additives, their impact reactivity transport properties currently not well understood. We present an overview electrostatics mass transport–induced zoom in into ILs additives try unravel how local them impacts ORR.
